ConTeXt setup in TeX Live

Editing the line

           TEXMFLOCAL      = "selfautoparent:texmf-local",
 
in texmfcnf.lua to

           TEXMFLOCAL      = "selfautoparent:../texmf-local",

then running

mtxrun --generate
mtxrun --script fonts --reload

seems to solve the problem. After that,

% mtxrun --resolve-path TEXMFLOCAL
/usr/local/texlive/2024/../texmf-local

% mtxrun --find-file LucidaBrightOT.otf
/usr/local/texlive/texmf-local/fonts/opentype/bh/lucidaot/LucidaBrightOT.otf

and a test context file calling the Lucida OpenType fonts typesets fine.

The comments inside texmfcnf.lua would need to be edited to reflect the actual settings, but the above seems to work.
