Boguslaw Jackowski is a co-owner of a small pre-press, BOP s.c., Gdansk, Poland.
He is the author and co-author of several TeX packages and publications concerning typesetting and computer fonts.
A lot of his free time he devotes to computer typography.
Recently, he worked with Janusz M. Nowacki on the Latin Modern family of fonts.
Mirko Janc was Professor of Mathematics at the University of Belgrade prior to his arrival in the USA (1993). He joined Technical Typesetting, Inc, in Baltimore as TeX expert and later VP R&D.
He Introduced TeX as an authoring tool and typesetting system to a number of Departments at University of Belgrade from 1986 and several mathematical and technical journals published in the former Yugoslavia.
He ttended the Cork TeX Conference (1990) and TUG Conference in Delaware in 2001.
Since 2002, he has been Publishing Technologist at INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences), responsible for the complete production of all eleven institute's journals.
He developed a comprehensive math fonts system for LaTeX, based on NFSS, addressing the problems both from the font-loading side and by developing new math font layouts and fonts themselves.
The system has been used in the daily production of over 60 journals and several hundred books between 1993 and the present. These products are under his supervision and technical support.
He also built a very long list of tweak-tricks to tackle production problems occurring daily, most often caused by ``inconsistent-but-must-follow'' requirements from the customers (leading SMT publishers).
He loves all kind of books (constantly having way too many!), foreign languages, geography (especially maps), and much more.
