The only more modern address I see is joel at wam.umd.edu in hcbase.mf
... compuserve and bitnet are somehow out of date.  Nevertheless
since 1991/05/15 is a lot of time and I've no idea if he is still
at the University of Maryland (guess no).  The last left marks are
