tlmgr -- no updates message inconsistency

Hi,

if I run (when no updates are available)

$ tlmgr update --all

I get
----
tlmgr: package repository ...
tlmgr: saving backups to ...
tlmgr: no updates available
----

Likewise,

$ tlmgr update --self

yields
----
tlmgr: package repository ...
tlmgr: saving backups to ...
tlmgr: no self-updates for tlmgr available.
----

So far so good. However,

$ tlmgr update --all --self
or
$ tlmgr update --self --all

will only yield:
----
tlmgr: package repository ...
tlmgr: saving backups to ...
----

(note that there's no third line).
