[tex-live] TL 2012 pretest MacTeX texmf-local ignored?

change $PATH to prepend /usr/texbin (assuming you installed via the MacTeX
installer).

I changed the PATH (only) in the terminal. Prepending /usr/texbin/  also did
not change anything.
