however, unless he takes the trouble to mention it to the ctan team
(ctan at dante.de), the licence isn't going to get changed in the
catalogue, and it won't therefore make it to tex-live, so that debian
will need to pull it from ctan.

(i expended some effort trying to contact him, a while back, with no
response, so a spontaneous commission to debian and not the rest of the
world seems improbable.)
