I first looked at TeX Live a month ago and chose testing as my priority, given the impending release and not knowing tcl. I have now had a first glance at the code. 
 
 Attached is a patch containing  a few minor grammar/typing changes you might consider for  some dialogs, included here in case others can improve on my suggestions. The Changelog in the source code dated 02/09/07 15:52:00 indicated 1.76.
