What I wanted to know was why the installation routine didn't
include this info in the output quoted above (after the word
"that" at the end of the first line of the message.

No, no. Someone needs to fix the script so that it echoes the path
to the terminal when it finishes,

No it's not:

There is a bug somewhere if you install with all defaults: it not
only outputs all those messages about /usrgroups/ but doesn't seem
to install any binaries.
