sorry,  but that is the sort of thing I cannot undertake.
packages changes on CTAN at a rate of 2 or 3 a day, and
I can barely cope with the process of grabbing them
and updating TL (sounds simple; it isn't :-}). I
at least dont have the resources to understand which
is the primary documentation. Especially since, as you
note, the texdoctk database already does the work.

install that Perl...
