TeX software DVDs

As of 2024, TUG is facilitating the burning of TeX software DVDs by volunteers, rather than doing a bulk mailing to all members.

Burn your own

The same software components as in previous years are available. Their total size exceeds the capacity of a dual-layer DVD, so no all-in-one image is available. It is simplest to burn each desired component to its own DVD.

• ISO image for TeX Live (TeX Live home page).
• ISO image for MacTeX: in the historic archive, directory systems/mactex/2024 (MacTeX home page).
• ISO image for MiKTeX: in the historic archive, directory systems/miktex/ (MiKTeX home page).
• ISO image for CTAN: in the historic archive, directory systems/ctancd/2024/ (CTAN home page).

• The list archives are public. Please do not post any personal information, such as your address, that you do not want to be publicly available.
• It's not necessary to subscribe before posting.
• If you are willing to burn and mail DVDs, please join the list and mention the geographical area you can cover. We will collate and post the information, as desired.
• Any financial arrangements must be made between the requestor and provider, individually. TUG is not involved.
• It bears repeating: The list archives are public. Please do not post any personal information, such as your address, that you do not want to be publicly available. It is time-consuming and painful to edit the archives.

Past releases

Releases of all components from previous years are online for historical purposes. This archive includes both the ISO images, tarballs, and live archives.

TUG also has copies of the DVD/CD releases for most years up to 2023. If you want disc(s) for any older releases, please contact the TUG office.
