[tug-support] xdvi not displaying colors

xdvi is not displaying colors.

I am trying to highlight text by wrapping a \colorbox{yellow}{text} 
around it.

When I xdvi the document, the boxed text appears as a black rectangle.

How can I get xdvi to display the color correctly?
