[pdftex] creating landscape PDF output

Dear all,

I am using the seminar class to generate landscape slides.  I could
generate and print postscript files fine, but somehow I could not
generate landscape pdf files.  Using pdflatex ([Web2C 7.3.1]
3.14159-0.13d), the resulting pdf file comes out portrait (with the
right side of the landscape page cut off).  Is there a way to generate a
pdf file with the correct page size and orientation?
