just because it might be possible to make an extensible integral
doesn't mean it's good style.  i'll have to check with the ams
editorial folk about that -- but i think they'd say (rather
emphatically) no!  there might be a case for a third size though,
and i'll ask about that too, but not until next week.  (we're
allegedly on 4-day weeks, 9.5 hour days, in the summer, but
somehow i always seem to end up here on fridays anyhow.)
