Quirk, James

quirk.jpg James Quirk is a technical staff member at Los Alamos National Laboratory. His professional interests include computational fluid dynamics, detonation physics, and parallel programming.

His interest in TeX started in 1988, while he was at graduate school. Today it centers on leveraging off pdfTeXto produce self-substantiating scientific documents.

James has a B.A. in Engineering Science from Pembroke College, Cambridge (1984), and a Ph.D. in Aeronautics from Cranfield Institute of Technology (1991).
