MetaPost issue

[Walter Burkhard]

Hello,   I have an issue with the cutafter and cutbefore operations.  I
have attached  three files --  test.mp, test.tex
and test.pdf

Why is the cutbefore operation not working?

I have successfully used these operations many times before.
