compiles but won’t print.

I have a two files here --  ucsd.tex and ucseal.eps

I compile ucsd.tex   via
tex  followed by dvipdfmx  which produces ucsd.pdf.

I can open ucsd.pdf in Google Chrome on MacOS..
But it does not print.  The printer quickly decides not to print.
I have used the printer for years.

What's going on?    Many thanks in advance.
