Hello TUG members - news for this month:

TeX Live: we are currently in the pretest phase for this year's TL
release. We believe the new binaries are essentially stable at this
point, and hope to make the final release in about a week. If you have
time and interest, please give it a try. By default, it is installed
completely separately from any other TeX installation on a given system.
For information on installing, and the changes this year:

This was a TUG election year. We had only one nominee for the office of
President, and the same number of nominations for the Board of Directors
as open seats. Therefore, no ballot is required this election, and the
President and Board members are declared duly elected as of the AGM this
year. Results and info about all the candidates:
  https://tug.org/election/2025/candidates.html

- Arthur Rosendahl will continue as President.
- New board members: Erik Nijenhuis and Doris Behrendt.
  Thanks for joining us!
- Continuing board members: Karl Berry, Johannes Braams,
Kaja Christiansen, Klaus H\"oppner, Frank Mittelbach.

Ross Moore has decided to step down, after many years of service to TUG
-- he first joined the Board in 1997. Thanks so much, Ross, and we look
forward to your continuing advanced work with TeX accessibility and
other areas.
