Hi Ulrike,

Thanks for the tip on \DocumentMetadata{}, it does indeed speeds
things up quite a bit, I wish I would understand what is it doing ...

I do believe that all my examples will be working in LuaTeX soon. I had
been working diligently with Herbert Voss over the December timeframe
and then I lost my house in the Pasadena fire on the 7th of January and
things are a bit backed up. Most of the problems are with shading and
transparency and he has nailed it to a couple of pst-packages and has
already produced a number of patches.
