In TUG news, we are now offering a new $20 electronic trial membership
for anyone new to TUG: https://tug.org/trial. Physical TUGboats will be
delivered for an additional $15.
TUG holds a lottery among new members for typographic prizes each year.
This year, new TUG members Stefan D. and Jae-won D. were the winners, of
the Indie Fonts #2 collection from DRY, Inc., and the book Do Not Erase:
Mathematicians and Their Chalkboards by Jessica Wynne (reviewed in
TUGboat: https://tug.org/books).
Another lottery will be held next year, so please encourage your friends
to join. Thank you to all new (and renewing!) members!
Finally, 2025 will be an election year for TUG. The positions of TUG
President and seven other members of the Board of Directors will be
open. The nomination form and election information are available:
https://tug.org/election/
The deadline for submission of nominations is March 1, 2025, 7am US/Pacific.
