Install failure through secured VPN

Hi All,

I am trying to install a single user version of TeXlive. I have not been able to successfully run the installer after multiple attempts, often lasting more than a day. I work over secure VPN and have received permissions from the necessary IT and InfoSec admins.

I am not sure where to find log files for further support, but I would like to get y'all the important information so I can get the software downloaded for use.
