weave makes me curious

I don't know why weave adds '\1' and '\2' in the first case.  But then I
also don't know why you'd use the double-comments (of different kinds)
anyway.

If you add '{}' after '@{...@}' in order to break the lines for each
'hard comment', then you should better use

@{line 1@}@/
@{line 2@}@/
begin @{line 3@}@+ end

This puts each of the three lines separately and without indention.
