hyperref and \verb

Ordinary LaTeX takes pains to make \footnote allow \verb in its argument.
Hyperref redefines \footnote (sort-of) unless you give package option [hyperfootnotes=false].
Just avoid using \verb in footnotes (and section titles and captions and...).
