[texhax] \makeindex does not work

Dear colleagues,
My LaTex text worked well 6 years ago. Now the same text does not create the index. Latex creates name.id file, but requires a class.ind file. In STAN this file is absent. I created the empty file class.ind. Then LaTex did not require this file, it created the correct file name.idh, but it did not create the index at any times of exeсutions. Tell me please how to create my index.
