[texhax] quick question

I have recently installed texlive 2016 and it seems to be located in the
correct folder.  /usr/local/texlive   I also have the 2015 version
installed and that is what I
am currently accessing.    What have I forgotten to change?

I will include the output of "printenv" and follow it with a call to "tex"
