[texhax] The update with spell checker Excalibur is a disaster help me

And exactly how is this related to the rest of us?

(1) I've never heard of a programme called Excalibur
(2) You make no mention of what kind of system you are on. Is this a Linux, Mac or Window sissue. Is it an editor issue?

If you want help, it might be a bit more helpful if you started by explaining your self in a bit more details.

I just installed an update.
It has the spell checkier Excalibur.
i cannot access my bib files
because it wants to check
every symbol.
How do I turn the dam thing off.

Excalibur is now sitting in the trash
bin.  but i still cannot open the bib
file because the update insists on using

Yesterday my system worked perfectly.
now it is dead.
