[prepared earlier, similar to Bob Tennent, but some details]

Hi Andrew,

in your earlier correspondence I see that you could not install MiKTeX.
That's strange, I always could install MiKTeX. Sometimes something didn't
work immediately, trying again helped. And you could have asked on the
MiKTeX mailing list, as WinEdt posted:

    http://www.miktex.org/help

Or:

Send MiKTeX-Users mailing list submissions to
    miktex-users at lists.sourceforge.net

To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit
    https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/miktex-users
or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to
    miktex-users-request at lists.sourceforge.net

You can reach the person managing the list at
    miktex-users-owner at lists.sourceforge.net

Now that you have a working TeX Live installation, rather the
somewhat commercial WinEdt provider should help with problems;
while perhaps a few WinEdt users read the present list.

The present list is generally about TeX, not TeX-Live specific.
TeX Live documentation can be found from

    http://tug.org/texlive/doc.html

while

    http://tug.org/mailman/listinfo/tex-live

is for the TeX-Live specific mailing list.

However, help is almost impossible on something like "it doesn't work."
You might report the first occurring problem in some detail.

Hth -- Uwe.
