If you are setting only a minimal amount of Greek, a few macros will
probably serve, but if you have any large amount to set, you might look
at Ibycus, available in either plain TeX or basic LaTeX. Ibycus input
coding requires no special keyboard, and uses postpositive accentuation
for a full range of polytonic characters, including the early Attic
vowels which were orphaned by Unicode. The input coding is also found
as part of Thessalonica, for LibreOffice (used to be OpenOffice, until
Microsoft muddied the waters with "OfficeOpen" which is not the same
thing at all and is VERY proprietary and expensive.)
