[texhax] Installing TeX Live 2010 on Ubuntu 10.10

Hi,

On the 'Quick install for Unix' page it says that you do not need to be 
root in order to install TeX Live, and you are encouraged to run 
'./install-tl' as a normal user. However, this fails almost immediately 
when the installer attempts to create the directory '/usr/local/texlive/'.

How are you supposed to install TeX Live without running the command 
'sudo ./install-tl'?
