[texhax] XeLaTeX: Extra vertical space in tabbing environment with \kill?

Thanks, William.  Do you know if there's a way to override this?

Not really an option.  I'm generating LaTeX from XML, so all I know is where
the tab stop is, and when to insert a tab.
