And, by the way, the manual is in the package itself, after the code;  
in TeXLive 2008, the package (chapterbib.sty) is in


kpsewhich chapterbib.sty

in your terminal or Command Prompt can help you find the file in other  
distributions (TeXLiive 2007, MiKTeX).
