I gave this to my TexShop on my fully upgraded Mac OSX. It failed!
But running latex from the command line it was ok.
goole pstextpath gave:
http://www.tug.org/pipermail/pstricks/1997/000029.html
which contained:
\pstextpath{\nccurve{1,3}{3,1}}{Test Text}
So the form is:
\pstextpath{Path}{Text}
then:
\pstextpath
{\pscurve(-1.41,0)(-1,-1)(0,0)(1,-1)(1.41,0)}
{\color{blue}\large Esta frase sinuose y peculiar est\'a escrita a log
largo de la curve $y=x^4-2x^2$}
works.
