[texhax] TeX on Vista

Before I downgraded my computer to XP, I did get TeX working on it. I
think I had to make myself super-user (just being administrator wasn't
enough) and I first installed TeX-Live 2007 which ran but couldn't display
or print since it didn't have permission to write fonts. (It is possible
that I did this before realizing I had to make myself super-user; this was
a year and a half ago). Then I installed Miktex, v. 2.7 and that
installed and ran without difficulty. Still I had enough problems with
Vista ("find" never found anything, for example) that I downgraded and am
happy with that decision.
