[texhax] Converting LaTeX files into MS Word

    I believe there is no conversion program available that can convert
    complicated documents created on LaTeX into MS Word.

Depends on the complications.  See http://www.tug.org/utilities/texconv/
for a list of converters (in both directions).  
Also, Dave Walden wrote about his experiences using some of these
programs in http://tug.org/pracjourn.

(Not that I disagree with the other posters; if the publisher is
planning to convert your math into Word, be prepared for an unhappy result.)
