[texhax] Problems in using TrueType fonts with LaTeX

Gentlemen:

I am attempting to make use of TrueType fonts with LaTeX, but am
encountering great difficulty. I have downloaded the MTDI package, for
use under Microsoft Windows 2000; and it has been of help; but LaTeX (we
have both MiKTeX and Personal TeX, both again under Windows 2000) is
still unable to locate critical files. I have downloaded several
articles from the Internet, as well; but details within the files that
I have established in the effort to make use of one TrueType font must
still be in error.

I would appreciate your suggesting someone to whom I might send a
message by e-mail which details the efforts that I have made. Once I get
all of the details right, and LaTeX is able to make use of the files
derived from my sample TrueType font, I will know what to do to set up
other such font files.
