I doubt that there are any Linux distributions that will not support
Latex.  My experience of the binary-based distibutions (e.g. Red Hat
(now Fedora), SuSe, Libranet/Debian) is that installation of Latex
(and friends) is offered as an option when you install the system.
You can expect that it will be possible to install (or upgrade) latex
at a later date with any of these distributions.
