[texhax] Metapost unclobbered

A few days ago I sent a message about my metapost aborting with the error
message:

>Ouch---my internal constants have been clobbered!---case 3

I finally found the problem by doing a mpost -kpathsea-debug=255

There was:

>max_print_line = 256

in my texmf.cnf file. With:

>max_print_line = 255

it works just fine. That was the whole problem...
