But the diagnostic did not refer to "install-tl.exe", Norbert — it 
referred rather to "install-tl-windows.exe", downloaded from 
https://ctan.joethei.xyz/systems/texlive/tlnet/install-tl-windows.exe. 
The site appears /bona fide/, Malwarebytes can find no fault with the 
file, and the site is an official CTAN mirror, so perhaps the file 
should be sent to Microsoft for further analysis as the virus report 
appears to emanate from MS Windows Defender.
