[EXT] PFA format not usable with XeTeX

As reported in the Stack Exchange thread, the following works fine —

\input pigpen
\mypigpenfont

This is XeTeX, Version 3.141592653-2.6-0.999994 (TeX Live 2022) (preloaded format=xetex)

restricted \write18 enabled.

entering extended mode

Output written on untitled-1.pdf (1 page).

SyncTeX written on untitled-1.synctex.gz.
