Philip,

since you really really really really try hard to NOT understand, let me
spell it out for you one by one ...

x86_64-linuxmusl is a *platform*, like *win32*. That means, it
incorporates *all* (400+) binaries of that very platform.

This is something *different* the *binary*.

Pierre asked about how to install *all* binaries of *one* platform, and
I gave him the correct answer.

And to make it even easier for you, since obviously there is some
deficit:

Platforms are

aarch64-linux/ amd64-netbsd/ i386-cygwin/ i386-linux/ i386-solaris/ win32/ x86_64-darwinlegacy/ x86_64-linuxmusl/
amd64-freebsd/ armhf-linux/ i386-freebsd/ i386-netbsd/ universal-darwin/ x86_64-cygwin/ x86_64-linux/ x86_64-solaris/

Binaries are:

pdftex etex dvips xetex ....

The command I sent is
	tlmgr platform add ...
which adds a **platform**, not a single binary.

Hope now it is a bit clearer to you. Everyone else already grasped it,
though.

All the best

Norbert
