Thanks for the offer.

However, before you spend time on this, consider that there are
alternatives:

- the CTAN catalog (https://www.ctan.org/)
- doc.html in the root of the TeX Live tree
- the command-line texdoc utility

All these are searchable. For my own use, I like these better than
texdoctk.  But of course other people may view things differently.

Also, Perl/Tk is not readily available for MacOS or Windows.
