Hi

Within 25 years, TeX Live will provide TeX running in the web browser. And
it will be a mainstream way of using TeX. That is my prediction.

Tomorrow's TeX Hour will present work being done now that will bring this
into being. Important preparatory work has already been done by Mozilla.
I'm doing modest work on simplifying and minimizing TeX Live.

TeX Hour date and time: Thursday 22 July, 6.30 to 7.30pm UK time.

Several in-browser LaTeX compilers are available, getting closer to being
mainstream.

Finally, there is of course MathJax (a NumFOCUS sponsored project, with
important supporters). For over 10 years, MathJax has been providing
in-browser typesetting of LaTeX notation mathematics.
