It was on the machines we had (only one left, which was a donation from 
Oracle and set up by them).  It is old

swift-9% /bin/bash --version
GNU bash, version 3.2.57(1)-release (i386-pc-solaris2.10)
Copyright (C) 2007 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

which is the same version as on current macOS.

/bin/ksh also works.
