Tested MiKTeX (via ProTeXt) and TeX Live in most combinations of
admin/single user on Windows 7 Home NL, Windows 8.1 Pro NL and
Windows 10 20H2 Pro US, all on virtual machines, except for one full
default admin installation on a bare-metal Windows 10 20H2.

I belatedly found a problem with the TL installer: the number of and
the combined size of the collections gives wrong info when
checking/unchecking TeXworks in the main window. I do not consider
this a show stopper.

I tested the installation with pdflatex, xelatex, lualatex, bibtex,
biber and makeindex.

MiKTeX uninstalled cleanly in all cases. With TL, filetypes are
sometimes not removed at uninstall. This is a long-standing problem
for which I have no answer. Since the filetypes are no longer linked
to any file extensions, this failure should in practice be of little
consequence.
