Anyway, perhaps what you are seeing is that I removed the
texmf-dist/doc/tetex directory in TL 2020, that is, the files
TETEXDOC.pdf and teTeX-FAQ. As far as I could tell, the information
therein (ca.2006) was either irrelevant to TeX Live or better available
in other documents for a long time since. --best, karl.
