I hope the *fmx developers will be able to work on this.

For the future, I just wanted to mention that there is a dedicated list
for (x)dvipdfmx nowadays, dvipdfmx at tug.org. Probably easier/faster for
the developers to see requests here than filter them out of the flood on
the tex-live list.
