file random is missing

    Subject: file random is missing

I am awaiting confirmation from the author (Don Arseneau) that it is in
the public domain so that the file can be updated. There is nothing in
the file itself that says so, and the label on CTAN is, unfortunately,
not sufficient.

    The folder genmisc is missing.

All the files that were in genmisc are now either their own packages or
(if nonfree) removed. --best, karl.
