Spaces in File Names on Mac

yes sorry about that it's fixed in a patch level 3 in the sources,
just doing some more tests, I attach a "test test.tex" file that
should work (and your user  can add similar to any documents until we
get a PL3 out)

It is the extra support _for_ spaces in filenames that broke this,
essentially as the "-quoting happens at a different place, the patch
at the top of the attached file is essentially the change proposed in
the format update.

this is a latex macro issue, the latex2e github would reach us more
directly, but doesn't matter too much, we track most of these lists:-)
