revision number of tlmgr does not appear in tlmgr conf output (TL2019 pretest)

HI, 

from tlmgr conf I get :

$ tlmgr conf
=========================== version information ==========================
tlmgr revision 49997 (2019-02-11 00:50:35 +0100)
tlmgr using installation: /usr/local/texlive/2019
TeX Live (http://tug.org/texlive) version 2019


But this is after having done an update of TL2019 pretest :

tlmgr: package repository http://ctan.ijs.si/mirror/tlpretest/ (verified)
tlmgr: saving backups to /usr/local/texlive/2019/tlpkg/backups
[1/1, ??:??/??:??] update: texlive.infra [387k] (50211 -> 50251) ... done
Restarting tlmgr to complete update ...

Why does tlmgr conf refer to a possibly now past version of tlmgr,
or is there no connection between the tlmgr revision number and
the texlive.infra package revision number ?
