mptopdf output file not numbered.

I have checked history of mptopdf.pl:

(1)
revision 22719 in TeX Live is the 2010 version

(2)
revision 50086 in TeX Live is changed by
# this patch was sent via debian but is not tested by me

(3)
revision 50112 in TeX Live
discards the changes and returns to rev. 22719

(4)
revision 52238 in TeX Live (present version, which is the
same as that in ConTeXt version: 2019.12.12 00:57)
recovers again the changes and returns to 50086.

Probably 50112, that is  22719, is the desirable one.
