fmtutil fails after updating hyph-utf8

Hi,

Today fmtutil(-sys) in TeX Live r50807 fails:

> Failed to build: 8 (euptex/euptex eptex/eptex pdftex/pdftex
> euptex/uplatex pdftex/etex pdftex/pdfetex eptex/platex pdftex/eplain)

By restoring texmf-dist/tex/generic/hyph-utf8 at r50791,
it succeeds.  It seems that the change introduced in
topic "extending `hyph-zh-latn-pinyin.tex'" is the culprit.

  hyph-utf8/patterns/ptex/hyph-zh-latn-pinyin.ec.tex
